I’m interested to see how the rental place for MinistryTECH/Roundtable does for me…I bid for the rental on Priceline and prepaid, so they darn well better have a car there for me given that I’ve already whipped out my cashplastic

That always got me about the rental companies – the term “reservation” is completely meaningless to them.

I guess if someone walks up with cashplastic in hand wanting to give them money for temporary use of a car, they’ll choose that person of the hypothetical person who said they wanted one but hasn’t shown up yet with actual money.
